Murena brake conversion

I thought I'd share my puzzling for new brakes with you. The plan so far is to place Alfa Romeo 155 front brakes at the rear of the Murena and BMW E36 calipers with Fiat Coupe discs at the front.

So far I have the Alfa brakea to start fitten, which goes pretty good. The discs need a bigger shaft-diameter but that should be easy to fix. The calipers t the rear need a bracket to be placed correctly which by the looks of it shouldn't be too hard to make..

This is what I started with:

And this is after an evening of fiiting and measuring:

The real problem will be the front brakes, as most calipers will limit the steering possibility of the car. Hopefully the BMW brakes will fit nicely, otherwise I will have to get another set to make it work.

Surely the Alfa brakes won't have a handbrake mechanism?

No they don't. I will have to convert the car to a Hydraulic parking-brake.

I don't believe that would be legal in the UK, although it may be different where you are.

It is legal here, but only if you do it the right way. It is not allowed to use your brake-pedal to set the brakes, this has to be a seperate handle... But you brought some important issue to my attention! I want to emigrate pretty soon, so I better start looking for the Norwegian rules about this.
