Espace cooling 1985 to early 1990 Jii6 models

As we all know, the Renault Engine as used in the Espace is cooling sensitive. The standard radiator cooling fan switch tends to come in quite high in the temperature range and in hot climates (we are in Louisiana) it can take too long to cool down. I have solved that problem with a two stage modification. First  change the radiator fan switch from the one used on the Renault 5 GT turbo which has a much lower turn on temperature, and the second modification is to fit the radiator cooling fan from Renault 25 V6, a slim Bosh unit but a much bigger diameter - it just means some minor fabrication work to make the fan fit the Espace radiator. One final item, I also fitted a manual over ride switch and warning light so that if stuck in traffic, the fan can run all the time. The fan switch is under £12.00 and a second hand fan about £10.00 from a breaker. If anybody would like to know more then please e-mail me.
